This module delves into creating effective objectives that guide learning and demonstrate achievement, specifically looking at the BSC model for writing the objectives.

When you have completed the learning in this module and successfully completed the learning activities, you will be able to do the following tasks.
▪ Explain why well-written learning objectives are important for both learners and learning designers.
▪ Distinguish between learning outcomes (what the organisation wants to accomplish) and learning objectives (what the learner will be able to do).
▪ Identify the components of a good objective, including:
▪ Using action verbs for measurable behaviours
▪ Defining standards of achievement
▪ Specifying conditions for performance.
▪ Apply models, specifically the BSC (Behaviour, Standard, Condition) for writing effective learning objectives.
